National Science and Engineering Week 17th – 21st March
As part of National Science and Engineering week two teams of Year 10 Triple Science students volunteered to organise and run competitions for the whole school. One team created a CSI style Whodunit for students in Year 7 and 8, which they spread over three days. Day 1 – the students visited the mock crime scene to discover evidence and clues.

Mock Court Competition at Scunthorpe Magistrates
South Axholme pupils competed in the local trial at Scunthorpe magistrates in March 2014. The case that that of handling stolen goods, (a bike). Abe Pupil Project
South Axholme Academy ran its annual Able Pupil Project on Monday 10th March to Wednesday 12th March. Over 50 students from South Axholme's primary feeder schools visited the school to take part in a cross curricular problem solving tasks. This years theme was 'out of this world', with students asked to visit different planets within the solar system completing challenges in order to gain stars for their inter galactic passport...

South Axholme Academy Choral Speaking Group entered the Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival (March 3 – 9th) and came 1st – awarded 90 marks ‘”outstanding”. They were awarded the Gostick Shield at the prize winners concert on the Saturday night.
